Her art works are exploration of the macroscopic world of flowers. When our art
acquisition team walked into Ms. Goto's studio, it was as if we had entered an
immense greenhouse, filled with huge, exotic flowers, except that these were great
canvases of larger than life flora, at once immense and overwhelming, and yet
executed with all the delicacy of a Japanese silk painting. ' Pink Roses ',
portrayed two such flowers at a great magnification, delicately rendered, and at
the same time, conveyed a sense of dimension in space, almost as if these roses
were sculpted rather than painted.

Miho's passion for nature is evident in her technique that emphasizes the dramatic!
Her paintings allow one's visual senses to be heightened through her larger than
life paintings. Her designs offer a contrast of dark subdued backgrounds and bold
vivid subjects. The true beauty in her paintings is the ability to simplify
background so as to give life to the complex center piece. This technique allows
an individual to absorb the true beauty of the subject with no distractions. The
eyes' continuously get pulled toward the main subject. This is not only a result of
the size of the subject, but also the creative use of colors and positioning. Many
of Miho's works span multiple canvas's, allowing a sense of complete envelopment.
Miho's intentions are to touch the senses and allow individuals to be absorbed into
the painting.
